Voting and Voter Registration 6/2010

Who can vote?

People aged 18 or over who are U.S. citizens living in Idaho for at least 30 days may vote in the State of Idaho.

Who can not vote?

If you have been convicted of a felony and have not had your civil rights restored or if you are currently confined in a prison on a conviction of a criminal offense, you can not vote.

Do I need to register?

If you have never before voted in Idaho or have had an address or a name change, you will need to register to vote. Once you have registered, your registration is permanent as long as you vote at least once every 4 years in a primary or general election, you do not move, or you do not change your name.
