Idaho Telecommunications Service Assistance Program 5/21/2010

The Idaho Telecommunications Service Assistance Program (ITSAP) a telephone assistance program managed by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. ITSAP provides help with telephone costs to low income households whose income is at or below 133% of the federal poverty level. The ITSAP program provides help with installation costs for residential basic phone services and/or the monthly cost for basic residential telephone service. ITSAP does not assist with wireless phone services.

Eligible participants may receive:

50%, up to $30, of the basic telephone installation costs

A monthly reduction of $13.50 on basic residential telephone service

You can apply for ITSAP assistance at your local Health and Welfare office or contact the 2-1-1 Idaho CareLine to have an application mailed to you. Dial 2-1-1 or 1-800-926-2588.
